Hello, everyone! Or no one, that works too. I am attempting to write my first blog post due to not being able to settle on a solid idea for my business. I needed to stop, sit, breathe, and write down my thoughts first. So, here I am! Blogging is not something that I was planning on pursuing, and if you know me, you know I am the BIGGEST planner of all time (check my wedding planning binder for details). I am an organizer, overthinker, analyzer, and pre-plan for the main plan type gal. I did not have "start blogging my thoughts" on my business plan, but hey, here we are.
As I sit here in a coffee shop with one of my gal-pals, I exploded my panic, fear, and negative thoughts to her. Going back and forth on my many business topics and the grueling process it's taking me to figure out what the heck I am even doing with "Tal's Tips"?! As she listens politely and lets me finish my rant, she looks at me and says, "Woah Woah, STOP! This is supposed to be fun and enjoyable for you. It's not about making money or being a successful business...yet. Why don't you blog about all of the different interests that you have, instead of trying to please people by picking just one topic?"
This caught me off guard, even though it shouldn't have. I did create Tal's Tips because I find joy in giving advice (tips) and shedding light on my friends that need motivation or a sincere listener. That's all I want to do with Tal's Tips, a bonus would be to do it full-time for anyone in need. However, to make it a business, I thought the topics I wanted to discuss are so broad. I feel they are too broad which could lead to being too complicated to gain clients.
Moral of the story: I couldn't decide on one topic or "niche", then became frustrated, had a tantrum, and now we are here: deciding and committing to cover all the topics that I want to! So world, here it goes.
Tal's Tips is going to cover aspects of REAL life. These topics are: Careers and Job Searching, Mindset, Relationships, Wellness and everything in between. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will enjoy sharing it with you.
Until my next blog,
